Amesk is a license holder for the FEPipe software suite by Paulin Research Group (link here).  This powerful template based software can be used to model and analyse typical piping and pressure vessel geometries using a library of beam, shell, brick and plate elements.  Components can be analysed individually or can  be joined together into combination models.  Post processing of results is to ASME B31.1, B31.3 or VIII Division 2 (with some exceptions). Some readers will be familiar with NozzlePro which is an easy-to-use template to access FEPipe's capability to create shell element models of a single nozzle, branch connection or pipe attachment.  However, NozzlePro has some limitations when compared to direct use of the FEPipe templates.  Direct use of FEPipe exponentially expands the modelling capability allowing complex interconnected piping and pressure vessel models to be built in a relatively short space of time. Modern computing power means that the time required to run even very complex models is reasonable.
